Full-lyric soprano Lindsey Fuson’s stunning voice and compelling stage presence have earned her roles including Donna Anna (Don Giovanni), Magda Sorel (The Consul), First Lady (Die Zauberflöte), Countess Almaviva (Le Nozze di Figaro), Rosalinda (Die Fledermaus), and Mother (Amahl and the Night Visitors). She has been described as “a soprano blessed with both stunning vocal power and clarity” (Arts Knoxville, 2017) and an "excellent singer-actress...capable of great range and insight, both dramatically and vocally."(Arts Knoxville, 2016)
In recent seasons Ms. Fuson has performed with regional companies including Marble City Opera (Knoxville, TN), Asheville Lyric Opera and Knoxville Opera along with being a studio artist with the American Institute of Musical Studies in Graz, Austria and the Advanced Artist Program at OperaWorks in Los Angeles. In 2017, Ms. Fuson was the Mozart Award recipient for the Orpheus Vocal Competition in Murfreesboro, Tennessee and she was awarded 2nd Place and the Audience Favorite in the esteemed Meistersinger Vocal Competition in Graz, Austria.
Ms. Fuson received her master's degree in vocal performance with an emphasis in vocal pedagogy from the University of Tennessee and her bachelor's degree in vocal performance from Sam Houston State University. She currently studies with Marjorie Bennett Stephens.
